Primary requirements

7. If the balcony is combined with the kitchen, install several groups of bulbs, each of which will be responsible for a specific functional area.

We also recommend that you take care of high-quality natural light. To do this, install large windows or even completely glazed structures. In this case, in the daytime, even with cloudy weather, it will not be necessary to turn on the light.

Lighting options

The most reasonable and effective solution would be installation of spotlights do it yourself. They are economical, have an attractive appearance and also easy to install. The only drawback of such products is the high price, but over time this problem disappears, because energy saving LED lamp significantly reduce electricity costs and thereby pay for themselves.

Spotlights can be installed both in a plasterboard ceiling and in a wooden one. All you need is to bring the wires inside the sheathing and cut a stroba under the product body, as shown in the photo above.

Alternative option - installation of sconces or wall and ceiling shades. In this case, the products can work both from the network and from the outlet. This method of lighting the balcony is used quite often, because there is no need to stretch the wire from the distribution box to the room.

If the balcony will act as a winter garden or personal account, it is recommended to install directional lamps and even compact fluorescent lamps.The last option can be used, because the room will be heated, which means that the temperature will not affect the performance light sources.

The luminous LED strip can be mounted not only around the perimeter of the ceiling, but also under the glazed part in the middle lane. The design of the room in this case will be unusual, because rarely anyone spends on the balcony hidden lighting.

If you decide to make a green corner on the loggia, bulbs for lighting indoor flowers and seedlings should be suitable: sodium or LED. We do not recommend connecting incandescent lamps, as they consume a lot of electricity and dry plants because of the high heat output.
