Separate machine for electric oven

Good afternoon, I plan to purchase a combined oven (top gas, electric oven) in a house from the 70s of construction, replace the old domestic gas stove. I want to call the master to install from the store, but there is a question: at the time of heating, the oven consumes 2-2.5 kW. I'm afraid of fires, short circuits. I do not know the quality of the wiring and the socket, because I do not understand. Is it necessary to put an additional automatic machine on the oven or is it completely safe to get by? It is quite expensive and probably ugly (with external wiring). The apartment has underfloor heating, refrigerator, 2 TVs, blender, microwave. An electric kettle is not used, the iron is rare and will not be turned on with the oven. Thanks in advance for your reply!

Hello! Ideally, yes, the oven wiring must be protected with a separate circuit breaker. In your case, because the power is relatively small, it is necessary to determine the cross-section of the wires coming to the outlet into which you will include the oven. A socket, if it is not an old Soviet, but a new standard with grounding, can withstand 3.5 kW. If old - replace with a new one. Your wiring is likely aluminum. You need to find out what section of the wire comes to the outlet. If 2 mm.kv., they are able to withstand up to 3 kW, but it is really close. Then you need to make sure that nothing else powerful is connected to this line (neighboring outlets can also be powered from this outlet). If 1.5 mm.kv. - not stand it.
But it’s better to hold a separate cable in the baseboard or cable channel to the oven, with a cross section of at least 1.5 mm.kv. on copper (preferably 2.5) and protect with a suitable machine.
