Is it possible to change the beginning and end of the transformer windings to get 6V?
There is a 200 W transformer, a primary winding of 220 volts and two secondary windings of 18 and 12 V. Is it possible to change the beginning and end of the windings to get 6V, given that the cross section of the wire of the secondary windings is different? This voltage is required to power a 150W electric motor
On the secondary winding, reduce the number of turns by constantly checking the output voltage. This is a theory, in practice, I think it will be easier to wind a new one.
