How to calculate how much electricity a machine consumes?
Good time. what I want to know is 312A written on the machine tag and it works on 380V. How many kilowatts per hour? If possible, by what formula.
https://our.electricianexp.com/en/kak-najti-moshhnost-toka.html . In the case of the 380/220 network (we have this everywhere) the load power can be calculated as follows:
Hello! Be careful, the site has an entire article on this topic, here it is -
S = uphase* I * 3
220 * 312 * 3 = 205.9 kVA
or so:
S = ulinear* I
380 * 312 * 1.73 = 205.3 kVA
(1.73 is the root of 3)
As you can see, in two ways the numbers are almost the same. It means that your machine will consume 205 kVA per hour to convert to kW - multiply by the cosine of Phi (also on the tag, most likely) ... Do you have 312A? What kind of machine is this ... Maybe 31.2A?
Thank you for the explanation. Yes 312 A. Exactly. This is a 60-meter textile machine.
