Is it dangerous to twist the wires in the wall under the plaster?
Hello, when drilling, the walls got into the wiring. The husband himself made a twist, wrapped it with electrical tape. Electrical appliances have earned. Then he plastered with a stucco a hole in the wall that was opened up for access. Question: is it dangerous? What can happen?
Twisting is prohibited for use in connections. As a temporary solution, it will do. And if done normally with a good area of contact, it will work for a long time. For the next repair, I recommend either replacing the entire cable or making a more reliable connection by welding, soldering, sleeve or terminal blocks. Contact deterioration and further damage to the wiring and burn-out of the connection can occur.
