The procedure for installing automatic machines and RCDs in the shield
Hello! My question is: I have not heard, seen, and read that RCDs must be protected from short-circuit protection. In the diagrams on the electrician, I see that on the shield circuit an input switch, a counter are drawn, and after it an RCD for several ABs. But what about AB before an RCD?
Hello! Your question is very logical, and the remark is true.
- There is an introductory machine in front of the entire circuit board.
- If the RCD is not electronic, but electromechanical, then in essence it does not matter before or after it.
- When you connect several groups to one RCD, you won’t do otherwise. They’re doing this in order to save money, imagine if you have lighting for all rooms using an automatic machine, sockets for each room, and then a boiler, a refrigerator and an alarm system on non-disconnected lines hang - on an RCD for each group after the machines? Yes so true, but expensive!
