Alexander asks:
An interesting question: there are six LED spotlights. I also want to install an LED strip. Lamps connected to 220 volts. Can I power the LED strip (tape-unit power supply-220 volts) to connect to the connection point of 220 volt wires and spotlights? Or is it better to connect the LED strip to the second switch?
The answer to the question:
Hello! Why not connect, but keep in mind that if the power supply is powerful enough (150 watts or more), it is possible to reduce the life of the circuit breaker, this is due to the fact that when you turn on any switching power supply (PSU for LED strip is exactly this) the input filtering capacity is charged into the network. You could notice this when you insert the charger from a laptop or mobile phone into a wall outlet and a spark jumps. So this is exactly what worsens the contacts and can affect the life of the circuit breaker. In this case, you can put another switch or put a two-key switch.
If the power of the tape and its power supply are small, then there is nothing to worry about.
