Please help me calculate the light, a studio with a stained-glass window 6.5 to 2.20 area of 33 sqm. We want to supply a 140 W LED ceiling light with a luminous flux of 9100 according to the passport or 100 watt 6500 lm. There are LED lamps around the perimeter. And another question: what is better than spotlights with a built-in dimer for each or one common? Maybe I’m not formulating so, there is no experience in this, I am waiting for an answer.
Hello! 1 lamp per 33 m² is unlikely to give uniform lighting. In this case, it is better to have several fixtures, or many spotlights so that the light is evenly distributed throughout the room. Whether you need a dimmer or not - it depends on your personal preferences, although if you install a lot of spotlights - it’s easier and more rational to make the lights go out not all at once, but in groups, that is, first divide the lights into groups, for example, on the sides of the room, on them put switches with two keys and each key turns off half of each group of fixtures. On wiring, the installation will be somewhat complicated, but there will be no flicker of light from a dimmer and interference in the mains. The calculation is carried out primarily if the full illumination is known. The total luminous flux of 9100 Lm per 33 m² will give about 275 lux, which is quite a lot for the room.
