Why is the turned off chandelier beating an electric shock?
Hello. I have trouble. On the chandelier, the cartridge failed, it had to be replaced, the reeds melted in it, which give contact to the lamp. I turned off the switch and began to take off the old cartridge, but suddenly I was suddenly shocked by the current, almost fell off the chair. I did not understand why there was current in the cartridge? I turned off the chandelier with a switch and the light went out, but I was still shocked. Tell me why the turned off chandelier is shocking?
This is due to the fact that the electrician who connected your switch did not connect a phase, but a zero, so as a result, when you turned off the chandelier, the phase remained in the cartridge on one of the reeds, and the zero disappeared. Due to the absence of zero, the light did not burn, and the phase present in the cartridge hit you.
So I called you an electrician, the Armenians changed the wiring, I'm not surprised that I was blown by the current. I’ll now disconnect it from the shield, I think this is connected throughout the apartment.
I recommend not contacting them anymore, it’s better to look for an electrician according to the recommendation, in no case with housing and communal services and DEZ
