Why does the electric stove not work after turning off the light?
Good evening, I have a 1985 Electra electric stove. At the entrance, they turned off the electricity for two nights in a row and after that the two left burners (upper and lower) and the oven stopped working, and the right two barely heat on a large fire. What could it be? And is there any connection with turning off the light?
Hello! And the stove was turned on (namely those rings) at the time of turning off and on the light? If yes, then at these moments an overvoltage pulse could occur and it either burned the heaters or destroyed the contacts. If they were not included, then this is a coincidence, check the wiring inside the plate and ring the heating elements for a break and to the body.
