How long can I use car charger for my phone?
Hello, I bought a car charger for the phone, it says 12-24 Volts. Prior to that, I bought a voltmeter in the car also 12-24 Volts. In the instructions for the voltmeter, it was written to measure the power supply of 24 Volts for no more than 15 minutes. The question is actually how long it takes to use charging for a 12-24 phone, does it have any time limits. As I understand it, is something overheating on the 12-24 V devices in the chip?
Hello! Charging and voltmeter are not connected in any way. If we are talking about a voltmeter that is installed in the cigarette lighter, then it is possible to limit it to exactly 24 Volts, if the shunts in it are so designed. The microcircuit cannot be heated (which measures), the divider is heated.
Charging should be designed for long-term operation (until the gadget is charged), so you can use it constantly. Naturally, it is better to turn it off when you have already charged the device, so that it is not inserted just like that.
