Is it possible to install a load priority relay in two of three phases?
There is a 12 kW three-phase heating boiler. Is there a backup power supply from the Fubak 8500 generator (three-phase 6.4 kW.) Is it possible to limit the load (so that the protection relay on the generator does not work) by installing the LSS 1/2 priority relay on two phases? Thank you in advance!
A 12 kW boiler is 4 kW in one phase. Your generator, at best, will produce 2.1 kW per phase (if its performance is as stated). That is, for such a generator at each phase it will already be an overload. It makes no sense to set a priority relay, because, firstly, the generator will not work with a load bias (when one or two phases are turned off) - the protection will work, and secondly, on one phase it still can not give out power more than 2.1 kW - generator protection will also be triggered.
