Is it possible to connect wires of different cross-sections with a soldered structure (1.5 kV and 2.5 kV)?

Artem asks:
Hello, the cable goes separately for lighting, from the shield to the switchgear. the box has a section of 2.5, there is a twist + a low-temperature solder with a section of 1.5 that is brought out to the middle of the ceiling, after which it will connect to 0.75 ball screws, all the lighting is only LED, the question is: is it okay that the cable 2.5 connects to 1.5? thanks, spike as in the photo
The answer to the question:
Hello! Connections and are created to make transitions between different sections. Only do not use ballscrew even for lighting - this is a cord for extension cords and household appliances, use cables for wiring. And what is the cross section 0.75? You want to save two rubles and after a couple of years write the question “Hello, something lighting is not working ...”, and it is not known which is worse - a small cross-section or that it is a ball screw, well, it is not intended for wiring, even if it is good, new and in accordance with GOST. It will certainly work and even normally, maybe for a long time, but this is not correct.

And do not forget that you need to choose a circuit breaker for the smallest section of the line.

p.s. What does low temperature soldering mean? You called it because the POS-61 is not refractory?
