The choice of power supply for LED strip is made according to its power consumption. To choose the right one, look at what power of the LED strip is indicated on the package and, based on these data, select the power of the power supply.
If the power of the tape is 12 W / m (the standard value for the tape is 60 diodes / meter), then the total power of 15 m of the tape will be 12 x 15 = 180 W. The power supply unit of the nearest higher rated power value is selected.
In your case, the power may be less or the power supplies that were included in the kit are incorrectly selected, since at a power of 12 W / m the load current of 5 meters of tape will be 5 A.
