How to power a training stand for an electrician?
Hello. I'm an electrician self-taught. For a long time I read articles on your site for wiring installation, but recently I wanted to take a job in wiring, but before taking it I decided to test my skills on the prepared stand at home.
But I don’t fully understand where to get 220 volt power for the stand, so that with the help of this wire it would be possible to connect a circuit breaker, ouzo or automatic machines for the stand, and then give lighting and outlets power through junction boxes. Is it possible to supply power to the stand through a power outlet, or is it necessary to conduct it from the machine in the shield?
I understand correctly that the sockets and lighting and the decoupling boxes that you write about are on the stand? If so, take the wire with the plug and plug it into a power outlet. Here is the power for you, but keep in mind that the machine should be smaller on the stand than the machine that protects the line from this outlet, just in case, so as not to knock out the entire line during your experiments! Of course, it’s possible from the dashboard, but it’s not convenient and doesn’t make much sense, unless of course you’ll connect a large load at the stand.
