Is there a sensor in nature that turns on and off the light when crossing the line?
Tell me, is there such a device in nature at the intersection of, say, a conditional line, the light would turn on and also turn off? If so, what is it called? On the Internet, I found only motion sensors and presence sensors. The motion sensors use a timer, which is not very convenient. And in the presence sensors, there is too much coverage of the area, in my case the area is only 8 square meters. I would like to create a so-called barrier so that the light crosses, the light turns off, I hope I clearly explained, thanks for understanding.
There are several options for implementing your idea. The first is the use of laser modules with receivers. Place them at a distance of about 50 cm (not opposite each other, but along the wall) and program how the first module is turned on. For example, you go in, first turns on 1 then 2 (the light comes on), go out, first 2 then 1 (the lights go out). The second is the use of two pairs of photocells from the barrier.
