Why does the lamp work properly in the kitchen, and in the room, when it is turned off, it continues to burn faintly?
I connected the LED lamp in the kitchen according to the marking (L - phase, N - zero, the house is old, two-wire wiring, I did not touch the ground). It works, everything is great. I bought the same in the nursery, also connected. But in the evening I found a faint glow of LEDs on the off lamp in the nursery. To exclude the marriage of the lamp itself, I connected the lamp from the kitchen in the nursery - the LEDs also light dimly. I checked the switch, everything is in order with it too (the backlight still slammed in advance). Wiring in the kitchen and room on different machines. What could be the problem and how to solve it? Thank.
Hello! Most likely, the fact is that in the nursery, a zero, not a phase, goes to break through the switch. So it burns dimly under tension.
Hello!
Thanks for the timely reply. I will try to find out soon. If this turns out to be the case, what would you advise in this case?
I poked a contact screwdriver on the off switch (I did not apply a finger). The light is on bright. I believe that this is still a phase.
Wire insulation resistance must be checked. Leakage, poor insulation is the main reason.
Thanks for the tip.
The lamp has a narrow hole for the wires, and the wiring itself is thick, I had to cut it a bit, maybe I went too far. Check it out.
