What happens if the motor jams?
A three-phase motor is connected through a contactor, rotates the gearbox, what happens if the motor jams?
Will knock out the machine. When the motor is jammed, the current in its windings will increase sharply and will be limited only by their reactive and active resistances. If there is no machine, put it, otherwise the wire / motor windings will burn.
