Inverter does not work after incorrect polarity connection

Ivan asks:
I bought a DC / AC Inverter IS3-48-600 and screwed a socket to it. When I inserted it, inadvertently confused the polarity, in the inverter itself it turned off and everything after that does not work, although it is written that it has protection against short-circuit. Tell me, can it be repaired at all after that, or now only in the trash?

Inverter DC / AC IS3-48-600

The answer to the question:
What does it mean to confuse the polarity “in the inverter itself”? It seems to me that you mean something else - you connected the inverter to a 12V battery and mixed up PLUS with MINUS, right? Short circuit protection is protection against short circuits in the output circuit, i.e. in the 220V circuit.

Nothing can be said without analysis, visual inspection of the board and measurements. If you've never done this before, it's easier to buy a new one.

Although it is necessary to disassemble and look - maybe there just a path burned out or a fuse. Or, obviously, one single detail has died, and everything will be decided by eliminating this problem.
