Replacing a three-gang switch with a socket
Good afternoon. I decided to change the three-key switch with a socket (kitchen, bathroom, toilet) to a new one. After connecting to a new one, it turned out that the light in the bathroom and in the toilet did not work. Connected in accordance with the old (Soviet). I have a lot of wires and I just can’t understand what needs to be done.
In the photo there is a bunch of wires, where there is a phase wire on the right and 0 (top right), but at 0 there are 2 more wires, Black wire is the kitchen, the bottom is the bathroom, and the toilet is on the left.
What and how to do it, tell me. Thank.
Zero I do not know what! Insulate it well and you do not need it! Put the phase wire on the common one in the switch (it usually should be one either from the bottom or from the top), and put the rest on the keys at will, and you will be happy!
Excuse me! I did not immediately see that zero from the bath was broken! The twist shows 3 wires and the fourth outgoing (I don’t know why), but there is no zero on the phase wire from the bath! You must have a cable with two cores from each! Judging by the photo of 2 veins with a bath, I do not see!
It’s bad when you can’t touch the wires! From the toilet that goes to twist near the terminal strip it looks like heating and a fracture is possible!
On the right is where the phase and zero connect the outlet and from it you take the phase to the switch. And which three wires are separately connected to the switch, too.
