Another question is the magnitude of the load. The meter terminals are designed for a specific load. The load current of two metering devices flows through the terminals of the first counter. If this current exceeds the permissible current for these terminals, they can be damaged. Also in this case, it all depends on the reliability of the contact connection. If the contact connection is unreliable, then these terminals can also be damaged, even if there is no overload.
