Rave. The room is 4 * 3 meters, the number of 1 glow lamp. The calculation turned out to be 840 watts. I have one 100 W lamp and the lighting is normal. I can imagine lighting 800 watts. A delusional calculator. I can not believe such nonsense.

in some cases, the formula does not work correctly. I still recommend using specialized programs for calculating lighting. This calculator is more likely to verify the results.

Maybe they would add guidelines for calculating? What determines the power of the lamps? Necessary luminous flux per unit area? Does the placement, center chandelier, or perimeter take into account?

    Hello everyone!
But what about the calculation of the height of the ceiling? (we have ceilings at a height of 3.5 meters)
Do I need to multiply the final result by a value of 3.5, because 1 lux = 1 lumen per 1 m2?
Tell me, do you need to measure in the living room, for example, from the surface of the floor or 1 meter from the floor as in your video?
Thank you in advance for your response!
    With respect,
    Jean
