Zero disappeared in the socket, interchanged with grounding - knocks the machine

Paul asks:
Hello! Suddenly, electricity was lost in the outlet, there is a phase, but there is no voltage, I took it apart by measuring a 240v tester between phase and ground, but nothing between phase and zero. Swapped the ground and zero, now 240 in the socket, but when you turn on any load, even a simple charge from the phone, the machine knocks out what to do?
The answer to the question:
Hello! They did not change places. Between earth and phase there will always be the same voltage as between phase and zero.

And what you did is dangerous. Most likely, it is not an ordinary machine that knocks out, but an RCD or a difavtomat. Your zero has burned out somewhere on the line, look for where this socket is connected from and look at the serviceability of the connections. Or lay a separate zero core from a working outlet.
