Why does the ground indicator on the line filter come on if there is no ground?

Sergei asks:
I bought an APC PM5-RS surge protector, 5 sockets, white, 1.83m. He has a ground indicator. There is no grounding in the socket, as soon as I stick the plug from the TV (Samsung LCD 32, the back cover is metal), the indicator that there is grounding lights up on the power strip on it. What is this happening for? There are suggestions that it is grounded from the TV, but this is some kind of nonsense.
The answer to the question:
Hello! Is this nonsense or not nonsense, but your TV, by chance, is not suspended on the wall? If it is suspended, then it is likely that it is “grounded” through the wall mount, this is quite likely if you live in a panel house.

What else do you plug into the surge protector? I ask, because there is an idea that the grounding lights up due to the characteristics of the switching power supply of the TV. In them, as in computer PSUs, the middle point of the input filter is connected to the housing. Perhaps the "brains" of your line filter perceive this as grounding.

Hello! Yes, the TV weighs on the wall. The house is brick built. Still connected: laptop, Ps4, Tv box. Can you use such a surge protector?
