Why does the machine knock out sockets in the apartment?
Suddenly, an automatic power outlet in a three-room apartment was knocked out. They turned off all electrical appliances, they still drive the machine in. Replaced the machine, the result is the same. A multimeter measured the resistance between the wires, it is more than 2 megohms. When connected to a 25 Volt power supply, we measured the leakage current, it was 10 microAmps, but for some reason the machine knocks it out? What is the reason?
Hello! What you measured with a multimeter is a biased estimate. Insulation resistance is measured with a megger, it measures resistance under high voltage, and there could also be no leakage from 25 Volts. Knocks out despite the fact that from all outlets all devices are turned off and all the lights are turned off? Perhaps it really is a damage to the insulation. Better call a specialist who can check the wiring with a megger.
