Why do all the appliances in the garage make a hum when powered by an inverter?
He made backup electricity in the garage from a car battery of 100 Ah through an inverter with a modified sine wave. Bulbs (incandescent and luminescent) are humming, speakers are humming, power supplies are humming. What could be the problem?
Due to the modified sinusoids, they may well hum. But it is strange that devices with switching power supplies are buzzing - I believe that you have fluorescent lamps with electronic ballasts, and this is a pulse source, I think the same about your power supplies.
