Why are there more readings on the general meter than on the individual ones?
Good afternoon. We have three rooms in a communal apartment, each room has its own counter, and the kitchen has a common counter. According to the general indication (for all rooms), 6 kW extra appeared from somewhere in the day. For example: electricity consumption in 1 room 1 kW, in 2 room 4 kW and in 3 room 5 kW. It turns out only 10, but a total of 16 kW (?!?!) Although they told me that the difference can be up (bulbs in common areas), but not to the same extent. The most interesting thing is that the day converges to zero, the other day an extra 6 kW. A neighbor says that this is our old counter (but not to the same extent!). We have two rooms, the old counters, and shared and in one room changed to new ones. Please tell me, what reason can this be? If my old meter winds up, can't it be such that the electricity bypassing my room meter goes directly to the total?
Hello! The old induction meter counts with a larger error than the electronic one, but this error is insignificant and there should not be a difference of 6 kW per day. You need to see how many lamps are used in public places, how much they work and what their power is - from these data you can determine how much lamps are consumed per day. It is also possible that some kind of electrical appliance is used to bypass the room meters - perhaps there is such a socket that is connected on the wiring site to the room meters.
