Is the situation dangerous when the wire sparks from the machine?

Power wires go to the machine, and earth near the wires goes from the machine. A braid of wires sparks to the ground. This is not dangerous?

    Sparking is in any case an abnormal phenomenon. If it sparks to the ground, then somewhere in the machine or suitable conductors the insulation is broken. In order to avoid negative consequences - fire and electric shock, it is necessary to eliminate this malfunction.
