Is it possible to replace the machine with a more powerful one?
Hello! Please tell me, I have a 5 kW automatic machine in my country house. With the advent of winter, this machine constantly knocks out when connecting convectors and other equipment. In this case, I have a single-phase connection. Is it possible to replace the machine with a more powerful one? And is it necessary to connect three-phase electricity for this, or can I do?
Hello!
1 question: Is this the first winter with such heating?
2 question: if not the first - did the previous winters knock out?
If knocked out - extend the contacts of the machine and strip the wires. If it doesn’t die out, then you need to either increase the allocated power or make a three-phase input. It is simply impossible to replace the machine with a more powerful one just like that - you do not know the condition of the line and your input cable may burn off into the house.
