Can I connect a fan in the bathroom separately from the light switch?

Hello! Please tell me, is it possible to bring a separate cable for the fan in the bathroom? Repair has been made and the fan is not connected correctly, that is, it turns on and off with the light, and it has a timer. We want to bring separately through the ceiling baseboard, is this possible? And I’m really looking forward to the correct scheme.

You can output a separate cable. The bathroom is a room with high humidity, so the cable must be laid in the corrugation. All contact connections must be tight - that is, if there are junction boxes with contact connections, they must be protected against moisture. Another question is whether this should be done. If the fan turns on and off with the light on, it means that power has already been connected to it and you just need to check the correctness of its connection. You need to look at the circuit according to your type of fan, as it may possibly differ from typical fan circuitry.
I enclose a typical fan connection diagram, but again, the circuit provides for switching on with light, and turning off with a timer. Perhaps you did not set a timer - if there was such an opportunity on your fan. If you want to turn on and off the fan forcibly with a separate switch, then you need to bring the fan power to a separate switch. Light - one switch, a fan - another.
