Can I connect a smart set-top box to the battery?

Tell me, the smart set-top box works from the 220 network, with a power supply, it is written on the console itself, the power supply is 12 volts 1.5 amperes. Can I directly connect it to a car battery?

    It is possible, but better through an additional stabilizer. The car does not have exactly 12 volts, especially in different conditions.
