Can I connect car speakers to a power supply?
I directly connected the speakers from the car to the laptop, it seems everything is playing fine, everything is holding. If I connect the speakers to a 12 volt power supply, will they play louder? Thank.

Hello! It’s not at all clear what you connected to or where. What does it mean speakers from the car directly to the laptop? Is it active speakers or passive speakers + amplifier? What did you feed them from when connecting to a laptop, from a car battery? If so, it’s not a fact that they will play louder from the power supply.
We need a power supply with a capacity greater than the power of the amplifier at the peak - otherwise, at high volume there will be drawdowns. Even if the power of the PSU is greater, drawdowns are still possible. Hang a couple of ceramic capacitors with a larger capacity and an electrolytic capacitor at the output of the power supply unit, the bigger the better - this will additionally filter out the RF interference created by the UPS.
