Is it possible to connect a 3 kW hob through a 32A machine?
Hello! Please tell the teapot.
Given: In the new building you need to connect the hob (2 comforts glass-ceramic). The total power of the panel is 3 kW. Stranded meter wire that is already connected to the panel: 1.5 sq. Mm. There are 3 wires from the wall for the plate (thick) and an automatic machine on them 32A.
Question: Is it OK to just connect everything through the terminal blocks? It bothers that the panel is only 3 kW, and the machine is 32 A. Or is it fraught and you need to change the machine to 16 or 25A?
It’s better to change it to 16 A. It will be right!
You can also use VAGO terminal blocks, they can withstand loads of up to 24 A. But it is better to use a terminal socket for connecting wires.
