Which frequency converter to choose?
Hello, tell me please, there are frequency converters from 220 to 380, and there are 220 to 220 three phases, they have different price tags, the question is, I have one phase 220 in my house, I assemble a forging machine, and accordingly I found a reduction gear.
here. The only difficulty you may have is whether the opening machine will pull the engine of your bid. Multiply the rating of the input circuit breaker by 220V and get the power that you can connect. I also recommend reading about chastotniki here.
Hello! And where did you see frequency converters from 220 to 380? In 90% of cases, this is a divorce for unknowing people. There will be 220V linear (interphase) output. There are certainly 220-380 boost converters, but there are very few of them. I did not understand the question, what was there to prompt? Which one to take? Anyone, take 1x220 / 3x220 - connect the main engine correctly, if it is 220/380, then it connects according to the triangle scheme, the power with a star and with a triangle is the same, you can read about it
Thank you very much, while I was waiting for your answer, I already found the info, that as you said, this is a marketing move 220/380, in fact 220/220 three phases.
I’m just mastering this topic, but now I’ve looked, the C32 machine is up to the counter, and after C25 it’s written on the engine, it’s Italian, I translated it. Asynchronous motor for inverter. 3 h.p. 2.2 kW, nom. 1400 rpm, max. 6000.220 / 380. The current is 11A.230 along the triangle. By star 6.5A. 400.
Of course you need to check, but I'm not sure that your opening machine will withstand such a load. Principle must, but still ....
Replace the machine with 32A after the counter, why lose the allocated power?
Hello, thanks for the information and answers! He took the engine and ran into another nuance, there is a cooler on the back of the engine, the wire from it is visible to some kind of sensor, but it is with a coil, and in addition to 6 wires from the windings, there are two thin wires with a terminal box, there is no question This is with a cooler, and in general what kind of fan it is, it will have to be connected separately, I’ll attach a photo.
Hello! Thanks for answers! Do not tell me what kind of two small wires with a terminal block, in the connection box with the main 6 wires of the windings, is this not connected with the cooler and the sensor under it?
Judging because I see on the sticker on the “cooler”, I want to ask a question, but how many lived in the wire which is from the cooler? I think that 4 :?
In general, Google says that it is an encoder. They are used in conjunction with many frequency converters to more accurately set the rotation speed, and the fan, like conventional engines, is simply mounted on the shaft of the engine itself. Those. this thing near the fan is the sensor. Look at the picture, and the circuit is suitable - 2 power and 2 signal.
And in Brno (terminal block), those two wires can be from a temperature sensor, or possibly bimetal releases. an example with temperature sensors is attached in the picture. What is highlighted in green is the sensors and their connection. They are directly inside the engine in windings.
If these are sensors, then leave them blank. It also happens that there are thermal fuses inside the engine and if they burn out the engine does not turn on anymore, you need to disassemble the engine, look for fuses in the windings and either close them or replace them with new ones (if the windings are generally working).
There are also thermostats in the windings - they, like fuses, break the winding in case of overheating, but usually the wires from them and from the previous ones are not displayed in Brno. Therefore, I think that these are still sensors.
Thanks for the formative answer! Question about the chastotnik, I looked what to choose, the rated current on the engine is a triangle 11A, and on the chastotniks 2.2 kW as an engine, the output is written 10A, so I think I should take a chastotnik with a margin of 3 kW ,? Many of them go in the 1.5-2.2-4kW range, but the difference is large 2.2 and 4 kW in price, but the 4kW output current is already in reserve. The question is whether the frequency response is 2.2 or not, do you need more? There are rare models (expensive), they have an output current of 11A.
In general, you have 11A at a voltage of 230V as I see. It seems to be suitable. BUT may go overload under congestion. Do not forget that the engine will not consume all 11A indicated on the nameplate. This is the current at rated load, what kind of load will be in your machine depends on the gearboxes, perhaps.
In general, yes, it is better with a margin. I can’t say firmly “Take 2.2 and don’t worry” - because it is your money and we risk it.
Thank you so much!
Hello again! And again I am with a question! The time has come to connect all the components of my machine, the question is where the pedal is connected on the chastotnik, on doppanels? Frequency INSTART SDI_G2.2-2
