How to check the performance of the LED strip and power supply
Good afternoon. Tell me, this situation: when connecting the LED strip through the power supply, I mistakenly mixed up the 220 V connections and the strip itself. That is, where there should be a connection in the 220 V block, I connected the tape. As a result, the circuit worked. Further, with the correct connection, the tape does not work. Tell me what happened: a blown block or a problem with the tape? And is it possible to somehow fix this? Thank.
In this case, the power supply burned out and it is also likely that the power surge was enough for the failure of the tape itself. Contact a specialist to check what condition the power supply and LED strip are in. If the power supply is not expensive, then it will be cheaper to purchase a new one. Using a known-good power supply, you can check the performance of the LED strip.
