How to connect a group of spotlights in a stretch ceiling if there is no access to the distribution box?
After installing the suspended ceiling, there is no longer access to the distribution box in the hall. Previously, there was one chandelier and a single switch. Now a second line of spotlights has been added to the chandelier. The new chandelier is powered to the old line, and the installers removed only the end of the cable from the group of spotlights. There is only a phase wire on the old switch. How can I connect the spotlights to a double switch when there is no access to the neutral wire? Can I use a nearby outlet? Thanks in advance!
Hello! You can take any zero, even from a power outlet, even from another room - it does not really matter if there is no RCD, if there is, look and try. Why do you need zero to connect the switch? Or do you mean to connect spotlights?
