How to connect two light sources to one switch and control the light using the remote control?
Objective: connect two light sources (spots and pendant lamp) so that you can switch the light source using the remote control, plus you must be able to dim the pendant lamp, which consists of three LED lamps. Is it possible to do this and, if so, what equipment can I buy?
Thank.
You can control two groups of light with the remote control using two channel radio relays. But with dimming it is more difficult, you need to either lay the wires to the dimmer, or even change the configuration of the equipment. Do you remember that LED lamps are not all dimmed adequately by any dimmer? On the other hand, you can use smart lamps and chandeliers, such are produced by philips, xiaomi and others. They are combined into groups and dimmed directly from the phone. More details in the article:https://our.electricianexp.com/en/chto-takoe-umnye-lampy.html.
Thanks for the answer, Alexander.
Speaking about the dimmer, I also meant remote control.
If I understand correctly, then in theory I can first branch the wiring into two using a two-channel relay, and then hang this dimmer onto the wire that goes to the pendant lamp. The downside is that there will be two remotes. And I would like one device that combines a two-channel relay and a dimmer (which dims only the second channel), but apparently these do not exist in nature. I would like to hear your comment.
This is a common simistor dimmer, but the presence of a cut-off switch for the sine wave front pleases. Ordinary LED lamps are poorly dimming, there are special "dimmable" LED lamps, your "LED", judging by the description of these. In order to achieve the correct adjustment, you can toggle this switch (highlighted in the screenshot).
Yes, you divide the airbag into two groups, you can still look towards the wi-fi relay and control from smartphones. Maybe there is, the Chinese are doing everything, all the same, such devices as you want, otherwise, double-sided tape can help you)
I managed to find an interesting device on ALI! It looks like a two-channel dimmer! If so, then with its help you can manage two groups. In similar products, there are other options and the description even explains something
Thank you so much! Now it’s clear what to watch)
