Hello! There are many methods for determining the parameters of a transformer. Soon we will write a separate article about this. The easiest way to determine the parameters is to wind an auxiliary winding from an insulated wire with a diameter of 0.12-0.4 mm onto an unknown transformer (the more turns, the more accurate the result). After that, determine which of the windings is primary. This can be done with a multimeter, the primary winding will have the greatest resistance. Next, it is necessary to apply alternating voltage (U1) to this winding and measure the voltage at the auxiliary winding (U2). Then, according to the formula, you can determine the number of turns of the primary winding (x). It is calculated as (U1 / U2) * y, where y is the number of turns of the auxiliary winding. When you calculate this, you will be able to calculate the transformation coefficient, namely: y: x.
You can also easily determine the voltage of an unknown transformer. To do this, measure the voltage on the primary and secondary windings with a multimeter.
