What could increase the energy consumption at night?

I have a two-rate counter. When leaving on vacation, I left only the refrigerator turned on. The payment document from the energy supplying company is listed per month: Day (from 7:00 to 23:00) - 20 kW; Night (from 23:00 to 07:00) - 35 kW. How is this possible? The difference is three and a half times! In general, in the previous months the ratio was approximately the same, although cooking on the stove and washing took place in the daytime.

    Hello! You do not exclude theft of electricity by neighbors? Maybe at night someone steals electricity from you through an adjacent outlet or in the shield flipped? If this is excluded, the case may be in a faulty electric meter.

      There are no adjacent outlets. Everything is clean in the shield)) If you were stealing, then, probably, it would be more than 35 kW.
      How to identify a malfunction? Visual inspection by a "specialist" did not give anything. Could electricians have something to do with programming?
