What to choose for installation in the apartment: automatic machine and RCD or difavtomat?
Two wires with a cross section of 4 mm.sq. The first wire goes completely to the oven. The second wire goes to the middle of the kitchen, and there from it through the junction box there is a branching into sockets (refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, hood) already with a lowered wire section of 2.5 mm.sq.
Question: I want to put two machines and an RCD or Difavtomat. What's better? Please write how much “A” “mA” is better to put two machines with RCD, also indicate what power reserve is better to put a difavtomat? What is the power for machines, RCDs and Difavtomat?
Best regards, Sergei.
Hello Sergey! From the point of view of reliability, there is always a chance of sticking contacts, and it will be bad if they stick in a single switching device, so I would rather put an automaton and an RCD than a difavtomat. The current of the circuit breakers is chosen either based on the cross section or on the consumption of devices, most likely a standard C16 automatic machine is suitable for you, and an RCD with a current of 10 (if the wiring and equipment is completely new) to 30 mA, but not more. The power of these devices is not regulated - the operating currents we indicated above. There should not be any power reserves, I repeat - the circuit breaker is designed to protect the wiring, for 2.5 sq mm. copper - 16-25A.
