What to add to the circuit so that the power on the boiler is completely turned off?
To maintain the temperature in a country house, in addition to a wood boiler, I use an electric boiler with a capacity of 6 kW. Connected via solid state relays to 80A (moreover, two are installed: one for phase and one for zero). When the control power to the relay is turned off, the boiler turns off, but when checking with a screwdriver-indicator, the indicator is on. How to make the shutdown complete and as silent as in manual mode, the boiler cannot be turned off, it is in the attic. Maybe you can add something to the chain?
A voltage leakage occurs through the control circuits, and this is what the indicator registers. A starter or circuit breaker must be installed to relieve voltage.
Thank you very much for your reply. But I would not want to install a contactor, since a contactor that can withstand such a load works loudly. I came across information that you can get rid of this leak by shunting the relay with diodes. Do you know how to do this and what diodes are needed in my case, maybe there is an electrical circuit ...
There is no such scheme that you would not do, concerning the earth, the TEN through the triac will be energized. Adding a circuit breaker to the circuit, which will physically close the contact, during the operation of the boiler, will secure its operation.
