What to do if the diesel generator does not work?

There is a 30 kW diesel generator which has not been disconnected from the city line and 380 went into it and it was smoking. After they disconnected the cable and started it, but after 5 minutes it got numb and smoke started and it turned off. Possible consequences and how to repair? Thank you all in advance.

    First of all, a diode bridge flew out on the excitation and stator windings. Call a specialist, you need a qualified inspection and repair.
