What to do if the voltage in the network is 170 volts and the relay is constantly triggered?
We have constant voltage drops, often very low. This is a network problem, old equipment. They put a voltage relay, the lower limit had to be set to 170, but despite such a low value it worked 10 times today. Advise what is better to do, well, except how to fight with the mains :) Stabilizer is inexpensive, but please advise a quality one (gas boiler costs 24 kW) . Although the neighbors stabilizer burned out.
Hello! Well, so the boiler would burn. Take any relay stabilizer - they are cheap and their characteristics should be enough. You can take an electromechanical (servo) stabilizer. But the question is, do you want to stabilize the whole apartment? Then you need a stabilizer of more than 4000 kVA. Consider the total load taking into account the efficiency of the stabilizer. Note also that with increasing voltage, the current consumed from the network will increase.
This means that if at 220V you had an input circuit breaker of 16 A that allowed you to connect about 3.5 kW, then at a voltage of 170 volts the load current through the input will be the same 16A, but the power will drop to about 2.7 already.
