Is it safe to connect the hood, stove and oven to a block of three outlets?
Hello. Please tell me, in the kitchen there are 4 sockets from one box, which is located in the kitchen. A block of three outlets from one wire, as well as another outlet on a separate wire. Panel house, 9th floor. Is it safe to connect the hood, stove and oven to a block of three outlets?
Hello! Not safe! The sockets in the unit are connected by a loop, so when connecting a hood (about 1 kW), a stove (from 3 to 7 kW) and an oven (about 3 kW), the load on the first outlet from which the loop is going will be at least 7 kW. In this case, the outlet itself can withstand no more than 3.5 kW. Therefore, the outlet block in the kitchen will not withstand such a load. You must determine the cross-section of the wires that fit on one separate outlet and outlet block. The only option is to connect the oven from a separate outlet, and the hood and stove from the outlet block. But first you need to understand whether the wires can withstand this load.
