Monthly power consumption with a 30 W floodlight
Good evening! I wanted to find out from you. I have a 30 W LED floodlight, do I need to find out how much it consumes per hour? I calculated it turned out 0.03 kW per hour, multiplied the number of hours of work per day by 13 hours and 30 days per month and received 390 hours per month and multiplied 0.03 kW * h and received 11.7 kW. Did I calculate correctly or not? Thanks in advance!

Hello! You write that you need to determine the power consumption of the LED spotlight per hour. Maybe a month? Per hour 30 W 🙂 You determined the monthly consumption correctly if the spotlight works from a 220 Volt network. If the spotlight works from 12 Volts (connected via a transformer), the monthly consumption will be about 13.5 kW (15% loss on the transformer).
